Beech Mountain Resort is thrilled to invite you to a special farewell celebration at our beloved bar and restaurant, 5,506′, before it undergoes an exciting remodel! Perched at the summit of Beech Mountain Resort at an elevation of 5,506 feet, this iconic spot offers stunning panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, a full bar featuring Beech Mountain Brewing Co. beer, and a wood-fired grill.
As we prepare for the remodel, we’re throwing a big party on Sunday, September 1, and you won’t want to miss it! The festivities kick off with live music by the Preston Benfield Band, setting the perfect vibe for a day of fun and celebration.
Bring the whole family – we’ve got something for everyone! Kids will love the face painting, while adults can enjoy drink specials at the bar. It’s the perfect way to soak in the atmosphere one last time before we begin construction on Labor Day, Monday, September 2.
The remodel will introduce a new structure for the bar while keeping the same breathtaking views that make 5,506′ so special. We’re also adding updated seating and multiple televisions that won’t obstruct the view but will enhance the overall experience. The renovation will be ready just in time for ski season, promising an even better experience for our patrons.
