Live Music at 5506 with The Grassabillies
The coolest mountaintop bar east of the Rockies is the place to catch live music every Saturday between June 2 and Sept. 1. The resort’s summer music series combines great bands, cool beverages and spectacular panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Concerts start at 2:30 p.m. each Saturday.
The Grassabilles are a high-energy trio based in western North Carolina playing a footstomping blend of bluegrass, country, and roots rock n’ roll. Original tunes, new and old favorites, and a few surprises, served up as only The Grassabillies can do it. Have tunes, will travel! Come join us!
Our summer concert series is held out doors on the deck of our 5506′ Skybar. In the event of inclement weather, the events will be moved to the Beech Mountain Brewing Company
The 5506′ Skybar is a family friendly environment. The concerts themselves are free, however the only way to access 5506′ is by shuttle. There is no parking and drop off location at 5506′. All shuttle rides are $1.00 per person.
