Stein holding Contest at Beech Mountain Brewing Co.

Come flex your muscles and enjoy a cold one at Beech Mountain Brewing Company for our first-ever stein holding contest! We hope to see you at this awesome event on Saturday, February 11th. Heats will begin at noon and will start every half hour until the final heat at 5:30pm. We will have individual prizes for the winners of each heat as well as an overall champion (longest time).

Wait, what is stein holding?

Steinholding is a traditional Bavarian strength contest in which competitors hold a full one-liter beer stein out in front of their bodies with a straight arm, parallel to the ground. Stein holders will hoist their beers as long as possible, the last man or woman standing with outstretched arms is crowned the champion! Take a break from the slopes and join us for something fun & different!
