First Chair Coffee Shop is Beech Mountain Resort’s cozy coffee hub, offering delicious beverages and warm hospitality to all guests. Baristas at First Chair Coffee Shop craft specialty coffee drinks, maintain a clean and inviting environment, and ensure each guest has an exceptional experience. Our ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Full and part-time seasonal positions will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with stocking and inventory management
- Handle cash and process payments accurately
- Ensure the safety and satisfaction of all guests
Requirements or Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Weekday availability is required; this position primarily focuses on weekday shifts.
- Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation required with the ability to navigate snowy or winter conditions
