Beech Mountain Resort is seeking a hardworking Dishwasher to join our team at Beech Mountain Brewing Co., located within the village at the resort. The dishwasher plays a key role in ensuring our kitchen and dining areas remain clean, organized, and running smoothly. You will assist in maintaining cleanliness in all dish areas, including washing dishes, glassware, silverware, and kitchen equipment, to support our culinary team and ensure a high-quality dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and kitchen utensils to meet cleanliness standards
- Keep dishwashing area clean and organized, ensuring equipment is properly stored
- Maintain proper washing, rinsing, and sanitizing techniques to prevent contamination
- Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils as needed
- Help with kitchen prep work when needed, such as peeling vegetables or assisting with food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of the floors and kitchen areas throughout the shift
- Assist with the disposal of trash and recycling
- Work with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service
Requirements or Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
- Must be able to work efficiently in a high-energy environment with a focus on quality and safety
