The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing live music events, social gatherings, concerts, and other entertainment at Beech Mountain Resort. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, and passionate about event planning in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Event Coordinator works closely with local and regional talent, resort teams, and vendors to ensure successful and memorable events.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute live music events, concerts, social gatherings, and other entertainment
  • Collaborate with talent, vendors, and resort staff to ensure smooth event operations
  • Manage event logistics, including scheduling, vendor coordination, and setup/breakdown of event spaces
  • Oversee sound, lighting, and other technical aspects of events
  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote events and ensure strong attendance
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests and event participants
  • Monitor event budgets and maintain accurate records
  • Handle any on-site issues or last-minute changes efficiently

Requirements or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination, particularly with live music or entertainment events, is preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple events and tasks simultaneously
  • Must be flexible and able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Familiarity with sound and lighting equipment for events is a plus
  • Reliable transportation required with the ability to navigate snowy or winter conditions
