Beech Mountain Resort is seeking a qualified and passionate Director of Food & Beverage to oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations across multiple venues, including 5,506′, The Lodge, The Brewhouse, and the Taproom & Grill. This is a dynamic leadership role responsible for managing a team of up to 100 employees during peak season, ensuring seamless operations while maintaining the highest standards of guest service, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth coordination across multiple venues
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance guest experience, employee engagement, and financial performance
  • Manage and lead a high-volume team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Ensure exceptional service standards and maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, and resort departments
  • Oversee menu development, purchasing, and cost control to optimize profitability
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a minimum “A” sanitation rating in all facilities
  • Collaborate with the resort events team to execute successful food and beverage experiences for a variety of events

Requirements or Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in food and beverage management, resort operations, or high-volume hospitality environments
  • Strong background in both front-of-house and kitchen operations
  • Exceptional people management skills, with experience leading large teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in ordering, inventory management, and financial controls
  • Strong knowledge of point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • ServSafe certification is required
