Freestyle Snowboard Coaches play a vital role in developing the skills of our guests while creating positive and memorable experiences. Coaches provide advanced instruction, focusing on freestyle techniques, in a safe and engaging environment. They demonstrate empathy and professionalism while fostering a passion for snowboarding at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced freestyle snowboard coaching, focusing on terrain park skills and techniques
- Create a fun and safe learning environment, encouraging progression for all ability levels
- Tailor instruction to meet individual guest needs, ensuring an exceptional experience
- Attend mandatory and optional training clinics, workshops, and exams to stay current with freestyle techniques
- Adhere to uniform and grooming policies, maintaining a professional appearance
- Show loyalty to the resort and demonstrate commitment to guest satisfaction
Requirements or Qualifications:
- Advanced level snowboarder with freestyle experience
- Strong understanding of terrain park features and tricks
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and during peak periods
- Reliable transportation required with the ability to navigate snowy or winter conditions
