Mountain Hosts are enthusiastic, service-oriented volunteers who are passionate about enhancing the guest experience at Beech Mountain Resort. As part of a dedicated team, Mountain Hosts assist guests through education, friendly support, and knowledgeable guidance on all the resort has to offer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests throughout the resort
- Offer assistance with directions, information, and general inquiries
- Educate guests on resort offerings, safety guidelines, and mountain conditions
- Support a positive experience through proactive problem-solving
- Ensure a welcoming and organized environment in designated host areas
Requirements or Qualifications:
- A passion for helping others and engaging with guests
- Knowledge of Beech Mountain Resort’s layout, activities, and amenities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in winter conditions
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred
- Reliable transportation required with the ability to navigate snowy or winter conditions
