The Snow Kamp Manager oversees all aspects of the Snow Kamp program, which provides quality child care and engagement for children ages 2 to 5. The Snow Kamp Manager ensures the safety, cleanliness, and overall success of the program. This role involves leading a team of attendants, managing daily operations, and ensuring children are provided with a fun, winter-themed learning experience in a safe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Snow Kamp team, including hiring, training, and scheduling attendants
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring a fun, creative, and safe environment for children
- Communicate with parents to address concerns and provide updates about their children’s activities
- Ensure compliance with all state safety and cleanliness regulations
- Organize and facilitate winter-themed activities for children ages 2 to 5
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall safety of the Snow Kamp facility
- Manage the budget, supplies, and equipment needed for Snow Kamp activities
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of Snow Kamp staff
- Resolve issues that arise and make decisions to ensure the program runs smoothly
Requirements or Qualifications:
- Previous experience in child care management or working with young children is preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage staff, schedules, and program logistics in a fast-paced environment
- Patience, kindness, and compassion when working with young children
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation required with the ability to navigate snowy or winter conditions
