Policies

We are committed to providing a safe experience for our patrons. We have prepared thorough operational plans that prioritize safety and are consistent with local and state health regulations.

Each skier is required to have a lift/slope ticket, which can be purchased in the Village or at the ticket booth adjacent to the Play Yard in front of The Lodge. Group tickets are sold exclusively by the Group Sales Office. Please check slope conditions before purchasing your ticket. Tickets must be displayed at all times, and sharing or trading tickets is prohibited.

Our lift equipment requires routine maintenance, and grease may drip from lifts in rare cases. Beech Mountain Resort is not responsible for grease on clothing or equipment, as this is an inherent risk of the sport.

Skiers and snowboarders must be at least 36 inches tall to load any lift.

All purchases are final and cannot be canceled, refunded, or transferred to another person. Once you complete a purchase, your credit card will be charged regardless of whether or not the ticket(s) is used. All tickets are subject to restrictions described in the product description and/or pickup instructions.

Passengers who drop, throw, or expel any object from an aerial tramway will have their slope ticket or pass revoked. Littering will also result in revocation of your pass with no exceptions.

No outside alcohol is permitted on the property. Illegal consumption of alcohol, drugs, or other substances will be handled by Beech Mountain Police Department in accordance with NC State Law. Outside food is permitted only in designated areas, including the deck outside the Lodge and in Group Sales.

Pets must be leashed, in a carrier, or held and under control at all times. Pet owners must clean up any messes made by their pets.

Pets are not allowed in indoor public facilities, any food venues, or on shuttle vans. They are also prohibited from areas where skiing, snowboarding, or mountain biking takes place during operating hours.

Beech Mountain Resort reserves the right to ask for the removal of any pet for any reason. Pets are also not allowed in any facility where food is sold.

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is only permitted in designated smoking areas, marked with a smoking logo. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all buildings, on lifts, and while waiting in lines.

Beech Mountain Resort is not responsible for damage, disappearance, or theft of private property. All reasonable care is taken to provide a safe environment, but the safety of private property is the owner’s responsibility. Overnight parking or camping is not permitted.

Due to safety and privacy concerns, the operation or use of drones on or above Beech Mountain Resort property is prohibited without prior written authorization. This applies to drones used for filming, media, or recreational purposes. Unauthorized drone operation may result in confiscation, suspension of access privileges, and other liabilities.

All authorized drone operations must comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations, as well as resort-specific policies.
